Copying your first file
Copying files between your Google accounts is Remoscope's core feature. Here's how.
Steps to copy
- Navigate to the file or folder you want to copy
- Click the copy icon or right-click and select "Copy to..."
- Choose the destination account
- Select where in that account you want to place the file
- Click "Copy"
What gets copied?
- Files: A complete copy of the file is created in the destination account
- Folders: The entire folder structure is recreated, including all subfolders and files
- Google Docs/Sheets/Slides: These are copied as native Google files (not downloaded and re-uploaded)
Tip: The original file stays in place. Remoscope creates a copy — it doesn't move files.
Copy speed
Copies happen directly through Google's API. Speed depends on:
- File size
- Number of files (for folders)
- Your internet connection
- Google's API rate limits
