Saving attachments to Google Drive
Save email attachments directly to any of your connected Google Drive accounts — even a different account than where the email is.
How to save an attachment
- Go to Gmail → Attachments
- Find the email with the attachment you want
- Click the Drive icon on the attachment
- Choose which Google account to save to
- Select a destination folder (or save to root)
- Click Save
Cross-account saving
This is where Remoscope shines:
- Receive an attachment in your work Gmail
- Save it directly to your personal Google Drive
- No downloading to your computer first
Use cases
- Organize receipts: Save purchase receipts to a "Taxes" folder in your personal Drive
- Backup work files: Save important work attachments to a personal backup Drive
- Share with family: Save photos to a shared family Drive
- Archive contracts: Move contract PDFs from email to organized Drive folders
How it works: Remoscope downloads the attachment in your browser, then uploads it to the destination Drive — all without the file touching any server.
After saving
The file appears in your chosen Drive folder. The original email attachment remains unchanged — saving creates a copy.
