Where your data is stored

In your browser (localStorage)

  • OAuth tokens: Used to authenticate with Google
  • Account list: Which accounts you've connected
  • Preferences: Theme, view settings, etc.
  • License info: Your Pro license (if applicable)

Not stored anywhere

  • Your files: Never downloaded or cached
  • Your emails: Fetched on-demand, never stored
  • File contents: We don't read or index your files

On our servers

  • License records: Email + license type (for Pro users)
  • Analytics: Anonymous usage stats (page views, feature usage)

That's it. We keep our server footprint minimal by design.

Clearing your data

To remove all Remoscope data from your browser:

  1. Open browser DevTools (F12)
  2. Go to Application → Local Storage
  3. Delete entries for remoscope.com

Or use our built-in "Clear Data" option in Settings.
