What permissions we request and why
When you connect a Google account, you'll see a permissions screen. Here's what we request and why.
Google Drive
Permission: See, edit, create, and delete all of your Google Drive files
Why: To copy files between your accounts, we need read/write access to Drive. This permission sounds broad, but remember — everything happens in your browser. We never receive your files.
Gmail (optional)
Permission: Read your email messages and settings
Why: For unified inbox and email search. We only read emails — we can't send or delete them.
Basic profile
Permission: See your email address and profile picture
Why: To show which account is which in the UI.
Revoking access: You can remove Remoscope's access anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions
